Development update #1 - Launch date and roadmap
Hello everyone!
It's been a while, and I wanted to update you on how the development of Sloppy Fields is going and make a couple of announcements.
First and foremost, the game will be launched for sale in early access this June.
Steam will also get a demo with a couple of new things for the Steam Fest, in case you want to try it, make sure to follow the game over there as well!
At launch, the game will have the following features
- 5 Races of animals to breed and sell
- 5 Matrons with 2 cutscenes each
- Breeding and farming mechanics
- A massage minigame to increase your matrons' affection
- An affection system: take care of your matrons to increase your farm's efficiency
- More Additional story cgs
"what's the plan after that?"
Currently, the game is at about 50% completion, with major game systems being at about 70%, art at 35% and story at 50%. Since the programming part has been almost completed, I will be able to focus the majority of my efforts for the remaining development cycle on the remaining art and story content.
Every major update after the launch, will introduce 1 one new matron, with at least 2 new cutscenes.
Addional lewd content will also be added in the following forms
- A pixel photography album to fill up with cgs for every girl
- Nightime pixel cutscenes that trigger when you "ignore" your girls too much

I quite like that there is more being added. Especially with how failure to adequately tend to the girls leads to their needs being quenched. I look forward to giving the early access part of the game a go once it becomes available. Best of luck and hope to learn more as things develop.
I was tricked twice already and one dev on steam got bored so I have to ask even if for you everything is okay in my eyes.
If I buy this here in early access, the same version will be updated right? I even had one game remove the version that I bought.
Yes, Itch version will have the same stuff that will be on steam, maybe there will be a couple of days of difference in update time since they're different platforms but you can expect the final product to be almost completely the same
As long as I don't have to buy it a second or third time I am golden.
